Do you love Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, and everything I Love Lucy?

The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum explores the lives, careers, and legacy of the “First Couple of Comedy” and the incredible impact they had on the world. Visitors can experience exact re-creations of the studio sets of the most beloved TV comedy of all time – I Love Lucy, explore displays featuring Lucille Ball’s Emmy Awards, original wardrobe and props from the legendary TV series, get a behind-the-scenes look into the creation and production of the show, and so much more.

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated volunteers to join our team. Volunteer shifts may be scheduled in hourly increments to suit your availability. Volunteers are key members of our team and will help share the legacy of Lucy, Desi, and I Love Lucy with all our guests.

Are you a happy, peppy person? If so, this is the position for you. Help guests throughout the museum while sharing your passion for Lucy and Desi and assist with taking photos of museum guests on the re-created sets with the guest’s cell phone. A variety of opportunities are available.

In tandem with the National Comedy Center, we host exciting events throughout the year – including the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. After-hours events are private events hosted by clients and there are often food and beverage stations set up. Tasks include assisting guests throughout the museum and some light cleanup for those who can stay until the end of the event. We will keep you posted on events happening so you can help when you are available.

Bus groups are an important and busy part of our operations, and we are fortunate to welcome buses with people of all ages from all over. Bus groups come during regular hours, and on days we are closed to the general public. Some areas in the Lucy Desi Museum that require additional assistance during bus groups include meal coverage – many groups opt to have a meal in the Tropicana Room and photo ops on the re-created New York Apartment set.
