Community Development Association, LLC and its owners, Gary and Helen Lynn, recently donated the Rapaport Center building in downtown Jamestown, New York, to the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center. Home of the Desilu Playhouse, Jamestown’s “I Love Lucy” museum, the Rapaport Center also houses the Tropicana Room, a recreation of Ricky Ricardo’s famous nightclub that is used for groups and special events, and administrative offices for the Center.

Through the generosity of individuals from across the country, the Lucy-Desi Center has reestablished the Lucille Ball Scholarship at JCC. It will be administered through the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
